UPTET 2020 Notification and Exam Date

In order to advance in the performance standards of teacher education institutions and their students, the Government-run schools ask for the TET exam results before recruitments of the teachers for Primary and Upper Primary school. These exams and their validity differ from state to state in India. One such eligibility test held by the Uttar Pradesh State Education Board (UPSEB) is the UPTET. The exam certifies that the candidate is eligible to become a teacher in schools across the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The UPSEB is expected to release the official notification for the exam shortly on its official website. The board will welcome all the applicants to apply for the exam online on their official website. UPTET highlights

Board has defined a list of criteria for Primary and Upper Primary teaching applicants. The candidate must be aware of these criteria as they are mandatory. The criteria for Primary and Upper Primary are different. The Board will release online application forms on updeled.gov.in and the candidates can fill out the applications online within the stipulated time period given by the board. Every year over 16 lacs aspiring applicants apply for the UPTET exam and only 41% pass the eligibility test. Although there is no limit to the number of attempts for the candidates to appear for the exam, there is fierce competition. The candidate has to be best prepared for all the challenges of the exam with regards to the exam syllabus, exam mock tests etc.
UPTET Exam Date
The UPSEB is awaited to release their official notification on the exam date, the speculations are that the exam will be conducted tentatively in December 2020. The information about the exam admit card will also be released in the first half of December 2020. Some guidelines that the candidate must follow during the exam are mentioned herewith.
Candidates should be present in the Examination Hall 20-25 minutes before the scheduled time of the examination.
Utmost attention should be given by the Candidate while filling out details and answers in the OMR sheet. Discrepancies will result in rejection by the selection commission.
Candidates arriving late at the exam hall will not be permitted to attend the exam.
The candidate is allowed to only visit the allotted exam centre as per his/her Hall ticket
Communication devices such as Mobile Phones, Bluetooth calculators, etc. are not permitted inside the exam hall. The use of any such devices by the candidate in the exam hall can result in his/her disbarment from giving the exam.
Candidates are allowed to make use of black ball pen only to write the exam.
Candidates are discouraged from carrying any kind of valuable items inside the exam hall to avoid theft, loss or misplacement, as the selection board shall not be held responsible in such circumstances by the candidates.
